Call for proposals - Assessing the impact of screen productions on tourism and brand value
Film London is the lead organisation in the EU funded screen tourism project EuroScreen. The project consists of an INTERREG IVC partnership with eight different regions across the EU, all working towards effective collaboration between the screen and tourism sector.
Destinations depicted on screen can have an influence on incentivising visitors travelling to specific destinations. The EuroScreen partnership has identified anecdotal evidence about the impact of screen tourism, but credible economic impact figures are difficult to survey. We are therefore seeking to measure and quantify the value of destinations seen on screen as a form of product placement.
The successful tender will need to develop and apply a methodology to measure and quantify the value of destinations seen on screen for tourism purposes.
Deadline for receipt of tender proposals: 24 March 2014, 5pm GMT
Tenders should be submitted by legal entities (i.e. registered companies, research bodies etc). Film London cannot accept submissions by individuals only.
